Greg Rusedski has admitted that he feels Arsene Wenger should be sacked as Arsenal manager.
The former British number two is a Gunners fan and claimed that the club's lack of transfer activity has seen them fall behind local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the Champions League places this season.
Rusedski claimed that the fans are unhappy about the failure to sign the big-name players that they have been linked with and believes that it is time someone else takes over as the boss.
"I think Wenger should be out," Rusedski told Sky Sports News.
"Where are our marquee players? In the past we've had Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires. He said we had £180m to spend on players, he should not have come out and made that public. We sold Robin van Persie to Manchester United last summer, the fans were not happy.
"There's no Luis Suarez, no Wayne Rooney, no back up [to the current squad]. In my opinion, it is time to move [Wenger] on. We're lucky if we finish fourth after the way Spurs have spent. The North London derby is make or break. Are the fans happy? Probably not."
Arsenal overcame Turkish side Fenerbahce 3-0 in their Champions League qualifier on Wednesday evening.
