Thiago Silva will set a new Premier League record for Chelsea if he makes an appearance against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
Sitting eight points clear of the fifth-placed Gunners, the focus of the Blues will be on retaining or extending that margin at Stamford Bridge.
However, as well as Chelsea looking to avoid ending a 29-year streak against their London rivals, one of their key men stands to set a new record for the Premier League.
Should Silva be recalled to Thomas Tuchel's starting lineup, the Brazilian will become the oldest outfield player to ever represent the club in this division.
Silva, who is 37 years and 210 days old, would replace Graham Rix, who was seven days younger when he made his final Chelsea appearance in the Premier League.
Coincidentally, Rix's record-setting appearance also came against Arsenal, that fixture taking place in May 1995.
