Andre Villas-Boas's injury problems ahead of the North London derby have been worsened by the news that three England internationals are doubtful for the trip to Arsenal.
Kyle Walker, Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon could all miss the crucial Emirates Stadium clash after suffering hamstring strains in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
Lennon and Walker withdrew from the England squad this week, while Defoe, who was rested from the original 23, could not travel to Stockholm as cover for the absent Wayne Rooney due to his own injury problem.
Should the trio all be unavailable for selection, Emmanuel Adebayor should retain his starting berth for the visit to his former club, while Kyle Naughton and Gylfi Sigurdsson may be recalled.
Spurs boss Villas-Boas is also waiting on the fitness of Moussa Dembele, while Scott Parker, Younes Kaboul and Benoit Assou-Ekotto are all definitely missing.
