Wojciech Szczesny has urged Thierry Henry's loan deal to be wrapped up as quickly as the Arsenal goalkeeper believes that the Gunners are in "need" of their former captain.
The Arsenal legend is due to finalise a two-month loan switch from MLS side New York Red Bulls. However, the process has been delayed due to the lack of certain paperwork.
"He's quality," said Szczesny. "He's a great finisher and he's very clever, very intelligent, plus he's a great figure to have in the dressing room.
"He helps all the players off the pitch as well as on the pitch, so it's great to have him in the dressing room.
"Hopefully everything will be done and confirmed as soon as possible because we need him."
The Frenchman is expected to pull on an Arsenal shirt for his second stint at the North London club when they face Leeds United for the FA Cup third round on Monday.
