Gary Taylor-Fletcher has ended speculation surrounding his future by signing a new contract with Blackpool.
The 30-year-old attacker has penned a deal until the end of next season, with the option of a further year following the conclusion of that period.
Taylor-Fletcher told the club's official website that he is "delighted" with the deal and is pleased that discussions have now been concluded.
"It has taken a long time but in the end it has worked out best for both parties, I have got a new improved deal and the club have got me until the end of next season," he said.
"It was one of those where we thought we had hit a breaking point where nothing was happening and then the other day [chairman Karl Oyston] rang me and said 'come in and have a chat' and when you sit down and talk properly you get it done and he was spot on with everything.
"I am delighted with the new contract and I hope the gaffer, Karl and the supporters are happy I have signed and happy to have me until the end of next season."
Blackpool's number 12 joined the club in 2007 from Huddersfield Town.
