Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has said that he is concerned by Jack Wilshere's continued injury problems and wishes the youngster a speedy recovery.
Henry returned to North London at the start of 2012 for a loan spell and saw up close the England international's struggle to return from a persistent ankle injury.
The French striker told Sky Sports News: "I saw Jack trying to come back and that's when he started to have problems. You want a player like Wilshere around, he is an Arsenal fan in the first place and you need these type of players in your dressing room.
"It's such a shame because he was on his way, I just wish Jack all the best to come back quick and wear the shirt that he loves so much. We need him back."
Arsenal begin their Premier League season at home to Sunderland on August 18.
