James Tomkins has revealed that he and his West Ham United teammates are in positive spirits ahead of their trip to Arsenal in the Premier League tonight.
The Hammers travel to the Emirates Stadium in 11th place in the table, while Arsenal currently sit in fifth position.
Despite West Ham being underdogs for the match, Tomkins believes that the Gunners could be tired following their penalty-shootout win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-finals over the weekend.
"We're looking forward to this game," the defender told the London Evening Standard. "We believe we have a good chance, especially now that Arsenal have been involved in extra-time at the weekend."
West Ham have lost four of their last six games in the Premier League.
