Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has revealed that he aims to be fit for the Gunners' pre-season preparations for the 2014-15 campaign.
The England international suffered cruciate ligament damage in January, ruling him out for the remainder of the club calendar as well as the Three Lions' World Cup campaign in June.
"It's coming along well," he told Sky Sports News. "It's a long, tedious treatment.
"I'm not looking to put months on it and I'll keep working week by week. I'm hopeful that I will be involved for some part of pre-season."
The 25-year-old had struck six times in 17 appearances for the North Londoners this season prior to his injury.
