England manager Roy Hodgson has been dealt a blow with the news that Theo Walcott could miss the match with Sweden with a muscle injury.
Walcott was substituted after complaining of a problem during Arsenal's draw with Fulham on Saturday and Arsene Wenger admitted he is a doubt for Wednesday's friendly in Stockholm.
"Walcott has a glute muscle problem," said the Gunners manager. "We nearly took him off at half-time, he nearly went down, but we left him on and on.
"In the end, it got worse and worse. At the moment, he is limping so I do not know whether he will be able to join the national team or not."
The FA are yet to make a comment on the injury.
