Theo Walcott has expressed hope of reprising his striking role at Arsenal in a bid to fire the Gunners into the Champions League.
The 24-year-old has hit 19 goals this season, many of them coming from his favoured central role.
He said that he has almost fulfilled his personal target for the season, but helping his team return to Europe's top competition is more important.
"I played a few games there and I would like a few more towards the end of the season," Walcott told Arsenal's matchday programme.
"I scored a lot of my goals this season when playing up front, so I have shown what I can do and it is up to the manager to do what he sees is best. I am sure another chance will come.
"I set a 20-goal target for the season, but the biggest goal for me is to help Arsenal finish third or fourth."
With just three games of the season left to play, Arsene Wenger's men are locked in a battle for top four with Chelsea and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
