Arsene Wenger has suggested that he remains excited about the potential of the current Arsenal squad.
The Gunners are about to end their second successive campaign outside of the top four in the Premier League standings, while Wenger has opted to step down from his role as manager.
However, despite a 3-1 defeat at Leicester City on Wednesday night, Wenger has claimed that 'something special' is brewing at the Emirates Stadium.
At a press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "The players' attitude was great last night. They were fantastic.
"There is a special bond in this team. There is something waiting to come out that is special. Hopefully that will come out next season."
Arsenal end the campaign with an away game at Huddersfield Town.
