Arsene Wenger has described Arsenal youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide as "something special" following his impressive performance against Lyon.
The 17-year-old was brought on for his senior debut against the French giants, as the Gunners stormed to a 6-0 victory in their Emirates Cup opener.
Alex Iwobi also impressed in the rout, himself earning the plaudits of his manager, but Wenger reserved special praise for the showing of Reine-Adelaide.
"Reine-Adelaide is something special you know," the Frenchman told Arsenal's official website. "He is a great talent and when he came on you could see that - 17 years old, let's not forget that.
"In fact I don't remember how I played at 17 but I didn't play like that. It is exciting to work with these players. You can imagine how they will look in two or three years for the club. That is always exciting."
Arsenal signed Reine-Adelaide from Ligue 2 side Lens earlier this summer.
