Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is happy with his side's 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, despite them leaving it late to take the points.
Wenger said that the win will do a lot for his players' confidence after consecutive defeats to Norwich City and Schalke 04.
"I am very happy with the result because we lost two big games in our head, and the confidence was a bit jaded," Wenger told the club's official website.
"We were serious, we moved the ball quite well and we needed to be patient today. It was important not to make a mistake, and wait for our chance and take it.
"Overall we played a serious game against a good team."
The results lifted Arsenal to fourth in the Premier League ahead of Sunday's fixtures.
