Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is always on the search to buy the best talent from England.
The Gunners had five players selected by Roy Hodgson in his squad for their Euro 2015 qualifiers against San Marino and Estonia.
Wenger has revealed that he was delighted to see his players so well represented in the national side, which he feels is a testament to their quality and of his side's academy.
He told the club's official website: "First of all [the reason for it is that] we gave chances to players from our academy. I cannot say the Danny Welbeck situation was planned for five years.
"I try to buy the best English players, [Theo] Walcott and [Calum] Chambers are a consequence of that.
"They know if they are good they get a chance. I am very proud when I see five England players wearing the Arsenal shirt and that we still have Walcott, who was not there."
Arsenal face Hull City in their Premier League clash later today.
