Arsene Wenger has said that Arsenal faced a good test during their pre-season friendly against Urawa Red Diamonds earlier today.
The Gunners missed several chances to take the lead in the first half, before edging ahead after the break to beat the Japanese side 2-1.
The manager told the club's official website: "The game was played at a good pace, we wanted a competitive game and we were not disappointed.
"They tried to catch us on the break, defended very well and were very sharp on counter attack so it was a good test for us.
"We created many chances but I would like to congratulate Urawa Reds, they played very well."
The win leaves Arsenal with a 100% record from their Far East tour.
