Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere allegedly aimed a punch at Everton's Kevin Mirallas after the half time whistle in their 0-0 draw on Tuesday night.
The England international was apparently unhappy with the Belgian at the break, after Mirallas squirted water in his face towards the players' tunnel.
According to the Daily Mail, Wilshere raised his hand towards the Blues winger in anger before a scuffle involving both sets of players was separated inside the area.
The draw left the Gunners third in the Premier League, whilst David Moyes's side stay sixth.
