Stuart Pearce has revealed that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere remains in his thoughts for the men's Great British Olympic football team.
The midfielder, who has not featured this season because of an ankle injury, was recently ruled out of England's Euro 2012 campaign.
That led his manager Arsene Wenger to declare that it would be ridiculous for Wilshere to be considered for Olympic selection.
However, Pearce has indicated that the 20-year-old has a chance of being picked for the Games by telling reporters: "He's on the shortlist, that's for sure."
Pearce is expected to announce his squad next month.
