Arsenal to attempt to replicate Odegaard deal with Real Madrid prospect?
Arsenal have reportedly identified a Real Madrid prospect as a transfer target for 2025, the hope being to replicate a deal that they pulled off for Martin Odegaard.
Back at the start of 2021, the Gunners gave Odegaard a way out from his frustrating period with Los Blancos, who he had joined in 2015.
Although Odegaard had hopes of becoming a Real Madrid star when he was a youngster, the Norwegian was frequently loaned out and restricted to just nine senior appearances for the Spanish giants.
That led to the North Londoners signing Odegaard on a loan deal for the second half of 2020-21, allowing the playmaker to flourish in the Premier League.

Dragusin agent addresses defender's future at Tottenham
Radu Dragusin has no plans to leave Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window, according to his agent.
The Romania international is closing in on a year in North London having been signed from Genoa at the start of 2024.
Although Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are the standout centre-back partnership at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the hope had been that Dragusin would provide competition and added quality in equal measure.
However, the 22-year-old has been limited to just seven starts and six substitute outings in the Premier League, a further five appearances coming in all competitions.

Chelsea attacker being 'monitored' by multiple Premier League clubs
A Chelsea attacker is reportedly starting to attract interest from multiple clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
Enzo Maresca has been given the freedom to build a squad full of depth at Stamford Bridge, there being at least two senior players for every position.
Most notably, the Italian has eight attacking players at his disposal that are full internationals, all of whom bring value to the starting lineup.
However, the downside to possessing such a wide array of talent is trying to keep each player happy, something which appears to have proven difficult if recent reports are to be believed.

Prem battle: Newcastle 'to rival' Man United for 'in-demand' Sporting star
Newcastle United are reportedly preparing to battle Manchester United for the signature of Sporting Lisbon youngster Geovany Quenda.
The 17-year-old has scored twice and registered two assists in 18 appearances for Sporting during the 2024-25 campaign, proving to be one of the breakthrough stars in European football this term.
Sporting signed Quenda to a new contract in September, with his release clause rising to €100m (£83.5m), but there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future, with Man United believed to be determined to sign him.
The 20-time English champions are allegedly keen to agree a deal with the Green and Whites in January, as they fear missing out on his signature due to the number of clubs beginning to express an interest.

'In talks for months': Is Zirkzee heading for Man United exit?
Joshua Zirkzee's agent Kia Joorabchian has reportedly been in discussions with Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli 'for months' over the possibility of a January deal for the Manchester United forward.
The Netherlands international made the move to Man United from Bologna over the summer, and he found the back of the net on his debut for the club against Fulham in the opening matchday of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
Zirkzee has failed to register in his 16 appearances since, though, and there has been criticism of his performances.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the Dutchman in recent weeks, with a return to Serie A, potentially as soon as January, believed to be a serious possibility for the centre-forward.

Ronaldo return? Legendary attacker tipped to rejoin Man United under Amorim
Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha has said that Cristiano Ronaldo could return to Old Trafford following Ruben Amorim's arrival as the new head coach.
Amorim officially took charge of Man United on November 11, and he is now preparing the Red Devils for Sunday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
The 39-year-old has taken over a team currently 13th in the Premier League table, with goals being a major problem this term, managing only 12 in their 11 matches.
Senior strikers Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have only netted three times between them in all competitions this season, and there have been suggestions that the Red Devils could target a forward in January.
