Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh will see out the remainder of the season with the club, according to his agent Pierre Frelot.
The Moroccan international has started just one Premier League game this term, leading to suggestions that he could leave the club in January.
Bordeaux were one of a number of French sides credited with an interest, but Frelot has claimed that Chamakh will remain with Arsenal until the end of the season.
"His short-term goal is the African Cup of Nations with Morocco, and then to finish the season at Arsenal," Frelot told Sud-Ouest.
"Then there will be an important choice to make, but he does not intend to return to France."
Arsenal will attempt to inflict a second Premier League defeat of the season on Manchester City when they travel to the Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
