The agent of Mesut Ozil has revealed that the Arsenal midfielder could join Fenerbahce if he chooses to leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
The Germany international is of Turkish descent and has admitted to being a boyhood fan of the Yellow Canaries, something which his representative says could persuade him to move to the club in the future.
Ozil was quoted by Turkish newspaper Sabah in July as saying: "In the future I want to wear a Fenerbahce shirt. It would be an honour. Everyone knows I am a Fenerbahce fan."
After reported interest from the Super Lig giants this summer, Ozil's agent Erkut Sogut went further by revealing that his client would seriously consider a move to the club as soon as at the end of the season if he were to leave Arsenal.
"We will see what happens at the end of the season but if he were to leave then Fenerbahce would be an option," Sogut told Vatan.
"At the end of the day it is a huge club and I think that Ozil would say yes to an offer if it came down to it, but it is way too early to start talking about transfers.
"Fenerbahce are serious but it all depends on what answer Arsenal give. It will all become clear at the end of the season."
Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge to face Premier League champions Chelsea this Saturday, with Ozil expected to keep his place in the side.
