Lucas Perez is not seeking a move away from Arsenal and is only concerned about returning to the first-team fold, according to his agent.
The 28-year-old has featured just three times for the Gunners in the Premier League, totalling 87 minutes in all, since joining from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer for a fee of around £17m.
Perez's last outing came in the EFL Cup tie against Reading a month ago, but the Spaniard's representative Rodrigo Fernandez Llovelle has dismissed talk of a move away in January, claiming that the only reason he is struggling for minutes is purely down to injury and not a lack of quality.
"He is not playing because he is injured," Llovelle told Calciomercato. "He has no intention of leaving. Arsenal and Wenger are very happy with him. Maybe try asking them!"
Asked whether a temporary switch to either Inter Milan or Napoli could be on the cards in the New Year, Llovelle added: "Not at the moment, no. He's only thinking about Arsenal at the moment."
Perez has scored two goals in his six games for Arsenal thus far, both coming in the 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
