The agent of Carlos Vela has revealed that the Real Sociedad striker is unlikely to return to Arsenal.
Despite joining the Spanish club on a permanent deal last summer, the Gunners have the option to buy back the 24-year-old Mexican.
"[Sociedad] told me they are very happy with Carlos and that they want to keep him, despite Arsenal's buy-back option," Eduardo Hernandez told La Aficion. "I am sure that we will see Carlos there, although this will not end until August."
Vela scored 14 goals in all competitions for Sociedad last season as the club secured a fourth-placed finish in the La Liga table.
