Arsenal have completed the £32m signing of Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko on a long-term contract on Friday.
The Ukrainian was pictured at Arsenal's training camp in the USA on Wednesday wearing the club's new training wear, after completing his medical ahead of sealing the move.
Often deployed at left-back with the Premier League champions, the 25-year-old will provide competition for both Kieran Tierney and Nuno Tavares in the full-back area, whilst providing Mikel Arteta with a useful option in central midfield too - Zinchenko's preferred position.
Following the confirmation on the club's official website, Arteta said: "We're so happy Alex has joined us. He's a player that I personally know really well and continued to follow him after my time at Manchester City.
"Alex is a high-quality player who will give us options and versatility. It's not only about the positions he can play but as well, the versatility he will give us in attack and defence.
"Alex is a person with great human qualities and character, and I'm delighted that everyone has made this huge effort to bring Alex to the club."
Zinchenko leaves the Etihad Stadium having made 127 appearances for City after joining for around £1.8m from FC Ufa in 2016, earning four Premier League winners' medals during his six-year stay.
Following the acquisitions of Matt Turner, Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko becomes the fifth signing at the Emirates Stadium this summer. body check tags ::
