Arsenal have confirmed that PAS Giannina defender Konstantinos Mavropanos has penned a deal to move to the Premier League club.
Over the past 48 hours, the Gunners have been in talks with the 20-year-old regarding a switch to the Emirates Stadium, with manager Arsene Wenger acknowledging that he wanted to sign the centre-back.
The North London side have now announced that Mavropanos has signed on the dotted line, although Arsenal have not revealed the length of his contract.
Mavropanos leaves Giannina having made 16 appearances in Greece's top flight this season, with his former club sitting in mid-table.
Reports have suggested that the player will spend the second half of the campaign on loan at Werder Bremen.
