Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal.
Almiron has had admirers from Europe in the past, with Inter Milan having previously shown an interest, but it now appears that Arsenal may try to take advantage of their indecision.
According to Calciomercato, Inter have been contemplating whether to launch an offer in the region of £18m, and now Arsenal could look to match that alleged bid.
Less than a year ago, Atlanta paid Lanus a figure of £10m to sign the 23-year-old, who has gone on to play a leading role for the MLS side during the current campaign.
The player has netted nine goals in 29 appearances, including a hat-trick which was recorded against Houston Dynamo in May.
Almiron has won 12 caps on the international stage with Paraguay.
