Arsenal are reportedly considering a January move for Napoli centre-back Nikola Maksimovic.
Maksimovic joined Napoli from Torino at the start of last season but has found playing time limited at the Stadio San Paolo, starting just nine Serie A games since his €25m (£22.6m) switch - including only one so far this term.
The 25-year-old's contract with Napoli does not expire until 2021, but Football Italia claims that Arsenal scouted the defender during the recent international break and are now pondering an approach.
Maksimovic started Serbia's final group game against Georgia, helping his country to a 1-0 win which saw them hold off Republic of Ireland and Wales to claim an automatic qualifying spot for the World Cup.
Arsenal may face competition for his signature, though, with Inter Milan also reportedly interested in the defender.
