Arsenal are allegedly considering an ambitious approach for Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu.
Before the centre-back made the switch to the King Power Stadium in 2018, Arsenal were frequently linked with a move for the Turkey international.
However, having missed out on Soyuncu, the Gunners have been forced to watch the 23-year-old become one of the top defenders in the Premier League.
According to Star, which is based in his homeland, Arsenal are sending scouts to assess the development of the player while he is on international duty.
Regardless of their results, Leicester are unlikely to give any consideration to parting ways with one of their key men, especially to a direct rival.
Soyuncu still has over three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at the East Midlands outfit.
