Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal.
Despite having been heavily linked with Liverpool in the past, Fekir made the surprise move to Betis last summer.
While the France international has contributed seven goals and three assists from 22 La Liga appearances, the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic may lead to Betis being prepared to cash in on the 26-year-old.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal have enquired whether Fekir will be available during the next window, which is likely to come into effect in August.
The report suggests that the Gunners regard the former Lyon man as a direct replacement for Dani Ceballos, who is likely to return to Real Madrid after his loan period at the Emirates Stadium.
A major stumbling block could be Fekir's asking price, likely to be in the region of £50m and out of Arsenal's reach at this time.
