Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on signing Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti in the summer.
The 30-year-old has been in top form for the Serie A outfit this season, and previously interested the Gunners when he left Cagliari in 2010.
Wenger is thought to be eager to add an experienced stopper to his squad to provide competition to 23-year-old Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski, 28, who are currently fighting it out for the number one jersey, according to Sky Italia.
However, the North Londoners could face competition for Marchetti's signature from Inter Milan, with Samir Handanovic rumoured to be on the move to Barcelona to replace the departing Victor Valdes in the summer.
Marchetti's current contract at Lazio runs out in 2016.
