Paris Saint-Germain winger Julian Draxler could reportedly leave the club next summer with Arsenal leading the race to sign him.
The 27-year-old is out of contract with the French champions at the end of the season and has allegedly made a decision regarding his future.
According to football.london, Draxler is planning to announce his departure from PSG and will name his new club in March, which could be a boost for Arsenal, who are interested in the player.
The German international, who has scored two goals in 11 Ligue 1 appearances this season, has previously been linked with the Gunners as manager Mikel Arteta is understood to want a creative midfielder.
Arsenal are believed to have £20m to spend this month, but the sale of some of their fringe players could help increase their current winter window budget.
Defender Sead Kolasinac's return to Schalke was officially completed earlier this month, as was William Saliba's loan move to Ligue 1 outfit Nice, while goalkeeper Matt Macey joined Hibernian last week.
The future of midfielder Mesut Ozil still remains unclear despite Fenerbahce's sporting director Emre Belozoglu stating that 32-year-old is currently "closer than ever" to joining the Turkish giants.
