RB Leipzig are reportedly open to selling Marcel Sabitzer during this summer's transfer window amid suggestions that Arsenal are keen to sign the attacker.

The Gunners have already lodged a bid for Sassuolo's Manuel Locatelli, but the club are thought to be keen to sign two central midfielders ahead of the start of the 2020-21 campaign.

Mikel Arteta's side have been credited with an interest in Sabitzer in recent months, and according to Bild, the Gunners have now been given encouragement in their pursuit.

The report claims that Leipzig are willing to sell the Austria international this summer, and he could potentially be available for as little as €17m (£14.6m).

AC Milan and Roma are also said to be showing an interest in Sabitzer, who only has one year left to run on his contract with Leipzig, which has placed the Bundesliga side in a difficult position.

The Austrian scored nine times and registered seven assists in 39 outings at club level last term. body check tags ::
