Arsenal 'have no plans to sell William Saliba'

Arsenal reportedly have no plans to cash in on William Saliba, who is currently on loan at Marseille, during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal reportedly have no plans to part ways with William Saliba during the summer transfer window.

While Saliba had not sufficiently impressed boss Mikel Arteta ahead of this season, that perception of the 20-year-old is likely to have changed.

The Frenchman has made an impact during his loan spell at Marseille, making a total of 28 appearances in all competitions and helping his current club challenge for second place in Ligue 1.

Arsenal are now in a position where they could cash in on the centre-back in the summer and most likely make a profit, even with the player having yet made a first-team appearance at the Premier League outfit.

However, although Real Madrid and West Ham United are said to be monitoring the situation, Defensa Central suggests that both clubs will have to remain patient with Arsenal having no intention of selling the youngster.

Saliba has just under two-and-a-half years remaining on his deal at the Emirates Stadium. body check tags ::
