Arsenal and Inter Milan are both reportedly interested in signing Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The 22-year-old has produced a string of impressive displays since his arrival in France last season and he is said to have attracted the interest of a number of Europe's biggest clubs.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Gunners are looking to strengthen their midfield, despite the emergence of Francis Coquelin.
However, Arsene Wenger is expected to face a fight for the French international, as Inter are believed to have already tabled a bid in the region of £18m for his services.
Kondogbia helped Monaco to finish third in the Ligue 1 table and book their place in next season's Champions League.
