Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Mario Gotze's situation at Borussia Dortmund ahead of a potential move for the attacker in this summer's transfer window.
The 26-year-old scored seven times and contributed seven assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund during the 2018-19 campaign.
The 63-time Germany international will see his contract with BVB expire next June, though, and could therefore be available for a cut-price fee in this summer's transfer window.
According to Bild, Arsenal are keeping a close eye on developments, with the Gunners prepared to meet Gotze's wage demands to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
The versatile attacker, who scored the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final, returned to Signal Iduna Park in 2016 following a spell with Bayern Munich.
