Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on the form of Brentford forward Ivan Toney.
The 24-year-old has previously played in the Premier League for Newcastle United but left the club in 2018 to join Peterborough United, where he scored 49 goals over the course of two seasons.
Toney signed for Brentford last summer and has been in excellent form during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 16 times in 22 Championship appearances.
According to The Express, Arsenal have been impressed by the forward's recent development and will continue to monitor his performances in the second tier of English football.
The report claims that Mikel Arteta's side are not currently in the market for a new forward, although Alexandre Lacazette continues to be linked with a move away from the club.
West Ham United are also believed to be admirers of Toney, who has a contract with the Bees until 2025.
