Arsenal could move to secure Benfica striker Rodrigo should Robin Van Persie depart the club in the summer, according to The Daily Mail.
Van Persie, 28, has attracted the interest of Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent weeks, and the Gunners are reportedly preparing for the worst.
Rodrigo, who spent last season on loan at Bolton, has scored 14 goals in 21 games for the Portuguese side this season.
He has an £18m escape clause in his contract, but Arsenal could face stiff competition from Italian giants Inter Milan.
