Arsenal have reportedly targeted Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel as doubt continues to shroud Thomas Vermaelen's future at the Emirates Stadium.
Reports have suggested that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger may be open to the possibility of selling the Belgian international, with Juventus and Napoli both being linked with moves in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Skrtel has hinted that he could leave Anfield this summer, despite Brendan Rodgers stating that the Slovakian is still part of his plans on Merseyside.
According to The Sun, Wenger is planning a £12m summer move for the 28-year-old, who still has three years left on his contract with the Reds.
Skrtel arrived at Anfield from Russian side Zenit St Petersburg in 2008.
