Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly poised to compete for the signature of Hamburger SV forward Hakan Calhanoglu.
The Turkey international has been a regular starter in the Bundesliga this season, scoring four goals in 14 outings.
He has attracted plenty of attention from top clubs all around the world and, according to The People, both Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers sent scouts to watch the 19-year-old in yesterday's 1-0 defeat to Augsburg.
The paper also claims that the Gunners have already made inquiries about Calhanoglu's availability.
