Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly among the clubs considering a move for Olympiacos defender Ousseynou Ba this summer.
Both sides are thought to be keen to bolster their backlines when the transfer window reopens, with Mikel Arteta looking for more competition in defence and Liverpool considering possible replacements for Dejan Lovren.
Sporttime reports that Arteta was impressed by Ba's performance for Olympiacos as they knocked Arsenal out of the Europa League before the coronavirus lockdown and is now weighing up a potential move.
The 24-year-old has made 18 appearances for the Greek outfit this season and is thought to be valued at around €20m (£17.8m).
Arsenal and Liverpool could face competition for his signature from fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements ahead of Ryan Bennett's likely exit when his contract expires.
Ba has also come up against Nuno Espirito Santo's side in the Europa League this season, playing out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their last-16 tie.
