Arsenal have reportedly identified Valencia goalkeeper Neto as a potential replacement for Petr Cech.
The veteran Czech Republic stopper will retire at the end of the season, leaving Unai Emery with a void to fill as he looks to provide competition for Bernd Leno.
Previous reports have suggested that Emiliano Martinez could be used as second choice, but Plaza Deportivo says that the Gunners are making an effort to sign Neto.
The 29-year-old has allegedly been offered a contract by Arsenal, although the Brazilian is said to be unhappy with the terms offered by the Premier League side.
Neto, who has two years remaining on his deal with the Spanish side, has made a total of 47 appearances in all competitions this season.
