A number of Premier League clubs reportedly all remain keen on signing Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.
The 18-year-old has been on the radar of a wide number of clubs since last season when he was regularly used by the Belgian outfit.
Since then, more first-team involvement has followed, with Nusa contributing four goals and four assists from his 32 appearances in all competitions in 2023-24.
As it stands, it remains to be seen which club are willing to take a risk on his services, with a transfer to Brentford breaking down during the January transfer window.
A medical is said to have found an issue with his back and knee, subsequently resulting in the Bees backing off from paying what would have been a lucrative fee.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the past, only to opt against reigniting their interest once a move to the West of London did not materialise.
Nevertheless, according to Fichajes, Spurs are ready to rival a number of other top-flight clubs for his signature in the summer.
The report suggests that Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea are all contemplating whether they should make a formal approach for the Norway international.
Most recently, Nusa only featured as a late substitute as Club Brugge booked their place in the Europa Conference League quarter-finals with a 3-0 victory over Molde on Thursday night, securing a 4-2 aggregate success.
However, Club Brugge going deep in a European competition will allow the Premier League's big-hitters to further assess his capabilities.
Nusa - a four-cap international - is not due to represent Norway over the March international break, though, having been left out of the squad for the friendlies with Czech Republic and Slovakia.
When Brentford were pushing to sign Nusa, they had agreed a fee in the region of €30m, and Club Brugge are unlikely to lower their valuation with his contract due to expire in 2027.
Brentford had been willing to allow Nusa to remain at his current club on loan had they completed a deal, yet that may not be the case with the other aforementioned teams now that he has continued his development. body check tags ::
