Leeds United will reportedly be unable to sign Eddie Nketiah on a permanent deal as Arsenal are not willing to sanction the sale of the young forward.
The 20-year-old joined Leeds on loan during the summer transfer window and has been in impressive form for the Championship outfit this season, scoring four times in six appearances in all competitions.
Nketiah came off the bench to net in Sunday's 2-0 win over Barnsley, while he also found the back of the net against Brentford in the league late last month.
According to Phil Hay from The Athletic, Leeds will be unable to prise the forward away from the Gunners on a permanent deal, though, as the Premier League club are not interested in a sale.
Nketiah recently claimed that Arsenal boss Unai Emery had wanted him to remain at the Emirates Stadium this summer, but the youngster decided to seek regular first-team action out on loan.
The England Under-21 international scored once in nine appearances for his Premier League club during the 2018-19 campaign.
