Arsenal have reportedly taken a step towards securing the signing of Carlos Bacca during the January transfer window.
Bacca has frequently been linked with a move to the Premier League, with West Ham United said to have missed out on the Colombian forward during the summer.
However, despite scoring just once in his last eight appearances for AC Milan, he remains a target for English clubs and according to The Sun, Arsenal are looking to push through a transfer at the turn of the year.
It has been claimed that the Gunners have already opened talks with the 30-year-old, who possesses an excellent strike-rate with European clubs after productive spells at Club Brugge, Sevilla and last season at San Siro.
It has been suggested that Arsenal would be happy to part with £20m in order to push through a deal.
