Arsenal have reportedly identified Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu as a potential summer transfer target.

At a time when the they are competing for a place in the top four of the Premier League standings, the Gunners are frequently being linked with a wide range of players ahead of 2022-23.

According to Turkish outlet Star, the Premier League outfit have Akturkoglu very much in their sights and are prepared to pay big money for the attacker's signature.

The 23-year-old has been one of the rare shining lights of a poor campaign for Galatasaray, contributing nine goals and four assists from his appearances in Super Lig and the Europa League.

Aware that Galatasaray are likely to be open to a sale due to their failure to qualify for European football next season, Arsenal are said to be ready to bid £16.6m for Akturkoglu's signature.

One potential stumbling block is that the playmaker only penned a new contract in December, extending his terms until 2026.
