Arsenal are ready to make a move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to a report.

The England international has endured an injury-hit campaign for the Toffees, limiting him to just 10 appearances and three goals in the Premier League this season.

The Sun claims that Calvert-Lewin is one of the players on Arsenal's transfer shortlist ahead of the summer, with Mikel Arteta hoping to add at least one more striker to his ranks ahead of next season.

The Gunners lost former club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the January transfer window, while Alexandre Lacazette is currently due to become a free agent at the end of this season.

Speculation has suggested that Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is planning to back Arteta with funds for a major squad overhaul this summer, and Everton would reportedly be open to cashing in on Calvert-Lewin.

However, Arsenal could face competition for Calvert-Lewin's signature, with West Ham United also understood to be interested in the striker. body check tags ::
