Arsenal have reportedly set their asking price for midfielder Thomas Partey ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old joined the Gunners from Atletico Madrid in October 2020 for a reported £45m and he has made a total of 104 appearances across all competitions.
Partey was regarded as a first-team regular under head coach Mikel Arteta in his first few years at the Emirates Stadium, and he was part of the squad that secured Champions League football for the first time in six years courtesy of a second-placed finish in the Premier League last season.
The Ghana international played 33 times for Arsenal in 2022-23, but several injuries and the arrival of new players including Declan Rice, who has made an impressive start to life under Arteta, has contributed to the midfielder falling down the pecking order this term.
Partey has been sidelined for much of the campaign with groin and hamstring injuries and has subsequently been reduced to just five appearances in all tournaments.
At the start of the season, Partey was surprisingly used as a hybrid right-back that drifted into midfield, but he has not represented the Gunners since October last year and was forced to miss Ghana's appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Recent reports have suggested that Arsenal are growing frustrated with the midfielder's injury woes and are prepared to offload him in the summer.
According to Fichajes, the North Londoners would be willing to sell Partey for as little as €15m (£12.8m) in the next transfer window.
The report adds that Serie A giants Juventus have identified Partey as a possible transfer target, with manager Massimiliano Allegri said to be interested in helping him rediscover his best form in Italy.
Uncertainty over Partey's future comes at a time when Arteta is believed to be keen to see Jorginho's contract extended beyond the end of this season.
Jorginho, who is yet to begin talks over a new deal with Arsenal, has struggled for regular game time this term, but Arteta heaped praise on the Italian following his impressive display in a 3-1 win over Premier League title rivals Liverpool last weekend.
The potential sale of Partey, who has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, could help Arsenal generate some funds to put towards new signings in the summer, with a new striker believed to be high on their list of targets. body check tags ::
