Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been alerted to the possibility of signing Andrea Belotti from Torino on a free transfer next summer.
The 27-year-old striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League on numerous occasions in the past, with North London duo Spurs and Arsenal understood to retain the strongest interest in his signature.
Belotti's current deal with Torino expires at the end of the season, meaning that he will be free to open talks over a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs from January 1.
Torino's president Urbano Cairo has dropped the biggest hint yet that the skipper could be on his way out of the club, admitting that a new contract looks unlikely.
"I do not see big chances to extend his contract, but we will see," he told Sky Sport Italia.
The report claims that the Italy international could also be available for a cut-price fee in January if Torino decide to cash in on him rather than losing him on a free transfer.
Belotti has scored two goals in nine Serie A appearances so far this season, and has 107 goals in 238 games overall for the club since joining in 2015. body check tags ::
