Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly received a huge boost in their pursuit of Ajax forward Hakim Ziyech after the player was told that he could leave over the January transfer window.
The forward emerged on the radar of several top clubs over the summer after a string of excellent performances during Ajax's route to the Champions League semi-final.
Reports have claimed that Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea all registered their interest in Ziyech ahead of the current window.
According to Calcio Mercato, the 26-year-old has been given the green light by Ajax to search for a new club over the next few weeks.
Ziyech already has nine goals to his name in all competitions this term along with 12 assists in the Eredivisie.
Arsenal and Spurs are both keen on adding a wide attacker to their roster, with Atletico Madrid's Thomas Lemar also reportedly emerging as a target for the two North London clubs.
