Arsenal reportedly retain an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku.
Manager Unai Emery had been keen on securing a loan deal for the Frenchman in January, but PSG opted to keep the 21-year-old at Parc des Princes.
Arsenal instead moved to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona, but it has been suggested that the Gunners have no intention of keeping the playmaker at the Emirates Stadium past the end of this season.
According to The Sun, that has resulted in Arsenal sending scouts to monitor the progress of Nkunku ahead of a possible move in the summer.
Nkunku remains a squad player at the Ligue 1 leaders, but 10 starts and eight substitute outings have still been made in France's top flight.
The player has just over a year remaining on his contract.
