Arsenal are reportedly not prepared to sanction an exit for Mohamed Elneny in the current transfer window.
The 28-year-old's Emirates career appeared to be over after he was shipped out on loan to Besiktas last season, but Mikel Arteta has since brought him back into the fold.
Elneny is still not a nailed-on starter at Arsenal, but he has garnered praise for his performances this term, leading to talk of a possible loan or permanent move back to Besiktas.
However, football.london claims that Arsenal are in no position to allow Elneny to leave after he fought his way back into the first XI.
The former Basel man has featured from the first whistle in 10 of the Gunners' Premier League games this season, but the imminent return of Thomas Partey will force him to fight harder for a regular spot in Arteta's team.
Elneny's current contract at Arsenal will run out in 18 months' time.
